…bin ich von dem Bambusgarn von butinette, aus dem ich im Oktober diese Socken gestrickt hatte. Es ist ja so schön weich, und verstrickte sich wirklich gut. Aber die Ferse der Socken sieht jetzt leider so aus:

Da ist nur noch der Poly-Faden übrig, die Wolle drumherum ist auf mysteriöse Weise verschwunden. Wie schade. Ich mochte das Garn wirklich leiden.

Zum Vergleich: letztes Jahr habe ich das erste Paar Socken, das ich aus selbstringelnder Regia gestrickt habe, entsorgt weil sie durchgelaufen waren. Die waren fast sieben Jahre alt, ich habe sie viel getragen und hatte sie sogar häufig zum Wandern an.

Ich habe eine Beschwerde-email an butinette geschickt. Mal sehen, ob eine Reaktion kommt…


It´s just the nylonthread that´s left. The surrounding wool is completely gone. Sigh…I really liked that yarn.

In comparison: last year I got rid of the first pair of socks I made out of selfstriping Regia, because they were worn out. They were nearly seven years old, and I used to wear them a lot, even for hiking.

I wrote to butinette and complained about the yarn, we´ll see if they answer…
