Hurra, es ist endlich mal wieder was fertig geworden! Die Teile lagen schon länger und warteten eigentlich nur noch darauf, dass mal irgendwer die Fäden vernäht (…alles muss man selber machen…)

Das Ensemble ist wild zusammengestückelt aus verschiedenen Mustern, die wunderbar zusammenpassen und auch in etwa die gleiche Maschenprobe haben.

Finally there are some FO´s here at knitaholic. They all lay abandoned for quite some time, just waiting for someone to do the finishing (…who? Me?…)

The ensemble is a wild mix&match of different patterns of matching style and requiring nearly the same gauge.

Von oben nach unten:

  • „Top Down Bonnet“ von Hello Yarn : gestrickt wie geschrieben, nur ohne Gesicht und Ohren.
  • Das Wickeljäckchen habe ich mir aus dem Ärmel geschüttelt, weil ich ein nettes Oberteil zu Mützchen und Hose haben wollte. Bei Gelegenheit werde ich wohl auch mal sowas wie eine Anleitung dazu aufschreiben.
  • „Bell Bottom Pants“ von Alison Hansel :die Beine habe ich jeweils rundgestrickt und dann alles auf eine Nadel genommen; ansonsten wie im Muster.
  • „Saartjes Bootees“ von Saartje Knits : ich habe lange nach einem Muster gesucht, das zum verwendeten Garn passt (sonst sind die Muster meistens für 4fach-SoWo). Und dann haben die Schühchen auch noch Krausrippen – na wenn das nicht passt…. Gestrickt wie im Muster beschrieben.

Das Garn ist „Uschi Mode 2000 Bambusgarn“, 60% Bambus / 40 % Poly. Butterweich, das Zeug!


From the top down:

  • „Top Down Bonnet“ von Hello Yarn : worked as described in the pattern, just without ears and face.
  • The wrap cardi is my own design – I wanted something matching the pants and bonnet. The pattern will (hopefully) be available anytime soon.
  • „Bell Bottom Pants“ von Alison Hansel :I knit the legs in the round and then united all stitches on one long needle. That was the only mod.
  • „Saartjes Bootees“ von Saartje Knits : I searched quite a while for a pattern that matched the style of the other pieces and the gauge (most of the bootee patterns are for 4ply sockyarn). And this one features garter stitch – perfect!

The yarn is „Uschi Mode 2000 Bambusgarn“, 60% bamboo, 40% polyacryl. It´s incredibly soft, that one!
